Board of Directors
Hospice Muskoka is overseen by a committed Board of Trustees. Their responsibilities include ensuring legal compliance, efficient resource management, and establishing strategic direction and policies for accreditation and risk management. Committed to principles of good governance, the nine-member Board upholds accountability, leadership, integrity, stewardship, and transparency.

Our Clinical Staff

Hospice Muskoka – Andy's House clinical team is comprised of registered nurses, registered practical Nurses, personal support workers and a full-time social worker.

Our Nurses have completed specialized palliative care education, including LEAP certification, Canada's leading palliative care course.

Our PSWs have completed PACE certification to receive a National Certificate in Palliative Care from the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association, Hospice Palliative Care Ontario, and Life and Death Matters.

All clinical staff complete training modules on Health Care Provider Grief Training and Indigenous Cultural Safety as well as palliative pediatric education developed by Sick Kids Hospital.
Our Volunteers
Our volunteers play an essential role by providing companionship and comfort to those we serve and by supporting the organization's administrative and fundraising needs. We currently have over 90 volunteers providing approximately 6000 hours of service per year.
