Grief & Bereavement Support
Grief, although painful, is a healthy response to loss. The difference in someone’s experience is whether they face it alone or with the support of others.

Hospice Muskoka's trained grief support volunteers provide emotional, spiritual and psycho-social support to individuals of all ages and families who are anticipating a death or experiencing grief due to the loss of a loved one or friend.
This support is free of charge, whether you have used Hospice Muskoka services or not. By understanding what is happening, identifying and expressing your feelings, you are able to reinvest your energy and focus into building a new life. The memories will stay close but you can learn to feel hope, optimism, and joy again.

Our Grief Programs
Hospice Muskoka offers support groups for all ages, recognizing that everyone experiences loss differently. Whether you're seeking quiet connection or shared conversation, our groups provide a safe space to heal alongside others who understand.
All programs are led by our Social Worker or grief-trained volunteers. We are here to support you every step of the way.
