Caregiver Support

HOME VISITING VOLUNTEERS

Elderly Care Interaction

A Caring Presence When you Need it

Our caring home visiting volunteers offer companionship and support in the comfort of your home, giving caregivers and family an opportunity to rest, recharge, or take care of the things they need to do.

Visiting volunteers can provide social, emotional, and practical support wherever you call home. One off our regular visits can be arranged.

  • Regular visits: So you can schedule appointments, run errands, participate in social and recreational activities, or take some much-needed rest.

  • Companionship and social interaction: Sharing conversation, a cup of tea, or simply being present.

  • Playing games or reading: Enjoying a favourite book, card game, puzzle, or other activity together.

  • Preparing small snacks: Helping with simple snacks or refreshments.

  • Writing letters or emails: Helping your loved one stay connected with family and friends.

  • Sitting quietly together: Sometimes, the most meaningful support is simply having someone there.
