What We Do

At a time when you need help most, we provide compassionate comfort, emotional and spiritual support, simple comfort measures, an opportunity to be with your loved ones and free to experience life’s final stages with grace and dignity.

We also offer grief support when you have experienced a loss and need someone to help you find a new way to live, love, laugh and hope once more.

Specially trained visiting volunteers provide non-medical, supportive care with a focus on the emotional and social needs of our clients and their families where ever they live – at home, in hospital, retirement and nursing homes. We also provide grief and bereavement support for persons of all ages, including children and youth. Education and public awareness about our programs, advance care planning and end-of-life support/services is available.

Hospice Muskoka is part of an integrated care team who provide physical, social, emotional, and spiritual care for individuals and their families. Through established partnerships with other healthcare providers, organizations, faith groups and community support, there is a blanket of
support throughout South and West Muskoka where the highly trained volunteers of Hospice Muskoka are especially valued.
