Hospice Muskoka offers education sessions on a variety of hospice palliative care and
grief/bereavement topics such as how to cope with the loss of a loved one over the holidays or
advanced care planning. A specially trained volunteer or staff member from the Hospice
Muskoka Speakers Bureau can make a presentation to your group about the organization or
offer educational workshops, key note addresses, and staff training about end-of-life care,
spiritual care, effective communication and how to have that difficult conversation, and the
grieving process.
Workshops can be tailored to meet your specific needs. There is no charge for the service but
Hospice Muskoka would truly appreciate a donation of any amount to support its’ many
programs and services. The group must be prepared to provide the space and any refreshments
for the participants. Please consider asking Hospice Muskoka to present to your group.
Periodic workshops are offered to the public to increase awareness and offer support.

For more information, request service or put your name on for an upcoming group, please call
705-646-1697 or email info@hospicemuskoka.com. Please direct your request for service to
Michele de Koning, Client Services and Volunteer Coordinator.
