BUTTERFLY RELEASE DAY

On Sunday July 7th, 2013, Hospice Muskoka will be hosting a Butterfly Release Day for the South Muskoka community.

The release of the butterflies is a healing experience that can comfort family and friends suffering from loss.  It provides a unique opportunity to cherish memories of our loved ones as we watch our own monarch butterfly emerge  and unfold its beautiful wings before flying off in one graceful swoop.

The butterfly release will also feature inspirational songs and readings, children's butterfly colouring activities and a barbecue hosted by the Lions Club of Bracebridge.

Proceeds from the event will be used for the development and enhancement of the Hospice Muskoka Bereavement Support programs in our South Muskoka community.
